Casey Boehmer

It’s hard to imagine anyone calling Casey Boehmer disabled. Despite being born with the lower half of his left arm missing, the Illinois native “drives a car, water skis, shoots pool, pitches baseball; he even wrestled on the varsity team in high school,” says his mother, Judy, 42. “Casey accomplishes whatever he sets out to do.” And that includes making his living as a world-class juggler. At 21 years old, Casey became one of the most respected jugglers in the world. Winner of top medals at the International Juggling Association in 1994, 1995 and 1996, he learned to juggle along with his 10 siblings as a family hobby. In 1989 The Boehmer Family Jugglers turned professional and has played venues such as the Kennedy Space Center, the 1994 Olympic Festival, at state fairs throughout the Midwest and at professional sporting events across the country. His amazing juggling has been featured in USA Today’s Weekend magazine, Teen People and National Geographic World magazine, as well as on many national talk shows. You can see Casey and his unbelievable juggling skills during Circus Sarasota’s performances in 2010!
