If you know, love or have been inspired by Robert in anyway, please send your thought, your prayers, and you positive healing vibrations his direction. He is fighting a good fight, but he can use all the help and extra energy that can be mustered. We're all thinking about you and looking forward to a speedy recovery Robert.
I used to love the column in Juggler's World magazine where they listed where jugglers would be performing . I was able to catch a lot of great juggling acts because of that column. This is an attempt to re-create that online. I want this to be a place where you can come to see who is performing where. I will also include any juggling news and any juggler's appearances on TV. Please feel free to send me any info on touring juggling acts, news stories or TV appearances that you are aware of.

Robert "The Butterfly Man" Nelson
For those of you unaware of the situation, Robert is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for Cancer. He is fighting the good fight on the big island of Hawaii. My good friend and international stilt performer, Martin Ewen, is hanging with Robert and posting occasional reports on the situation...

Greetings, Jugglers!
Mardene Rubio & I have just returned from visiting Robert, and can report that due to radiation theraphy (not chemo yet!) he is red, grouchy and very abusive, which is to say that his comedy, jokes and timing are better than ever. He has two adoring dogs, Kumi is ever with him and his son Koleman keeps him in line. Visit Robert on Facebook, and see the juggling treat Santa brought him...thanks, Mardene! Love As Always, Laura Green, The Juggling Queen, Ret.
Glad Bob is feeling himself.
I knew Bob back in Gainesville when I was a student - so early 70's before he got in his white VW bug and headed west. I lived in his flat in the student ghetto for two years. Later I ran into him on Pier 39 in the 80's. What a long strange trip it's been.
Hellbound Train - blacklights and tennis balls! (Hey - it was the 70's)
Tell Bob Hi for me from the '70's - and I'm a colon cancer survivor - so BEAT THAT MOFO BOB! We love you Bob! You're the only famous guy I know! -Sid

Robert the Butterfly Man and I go way back to when he first arrived in the Bay Area. A mutual friend Alexis who was at the Renaisaance Faire Introduced us. We met and it was instantly a friendship always. Its been years since we connected at Pier 39 etc. I am the Butterfly Lady and thinking about him intuitively tonight led me to try to find him and sad to hear he is not well now but now he is strong and will ride this thing through as he did his unicycle and beat it back. Stay strong Robert and sending you love and light and butterfly dreams for healing and being back to your whole self again soon...
Much aloha and love
